Portraits

Portraits make persona cards easier to scan. They are supporting material, not the identity system. The Forge Relay identity keeps product proof and bridge state ahead of character art, while still allowing portraits to help operators recognize working postures.

Uploads accept PNG, JPEG, and WebP. Kanade stores persona portraits under the local data directory, grouped by slug. Seed portrait assets ship with the app; uploaded portraits override only the specific local persona record.

Keep portraits legible at card size. Avoid images that depend on tiny text, heavy transparency, or visual detail that disappears in the grid.
