About Kanade

Kanade is the private relay room for Claude Code work: provider lanes, Hermes memory, missions, Forge runs, Discord asks, and the tools around them. The app is not a hosted assistant or a public service. It runs on the operator’s machine, keeps its chronicle locally, and only speaks to the providers the operator connects.

Identity and voice

Kanade’s v0.5 docs use Forge Relay: char-black canvas, forge copper action marks, signal-green health, blue-steel route lines, squared panels, and short proof-forward copy. The voice is concrete: route, recall, launch, bridge, verify, read, keep. Route names and proper nouns can keep their Kanade flavor, but navigation and reference pages stay plain.

This keeps the interface from becoming roleplay. Kanade can have a character, but the work surface stays clear.

Alpha boundary

Kanade is still private alpha. These docs explain the shape of the workstation and the verified local-first model, but they do not offer a public installer, invite flow, tester request form, or access path. Release notes call out which target was verified: source preview, installed desktop, updater channel, docs site, or public project site.
